New LLM or Large Language Models are growing in numbers exponentially since OpenAI unleashed  ChatGPT. 

It is rumoured that Elon Musk was one of earlier partners of OpenAI but Sam Altman has somehow got rid of him and is now leading this technology. At the time of writing, OpenAI is valued in the region of $6 billion. Of course there are many other players and from the American stables Meta and Google are also in this race with   and Gemini.

Let's not forget that our Eastern friends in China have made significant progress in this field and ar probably ahead of the United States in terms of practical use cases with tens of thousands of autonomous vehicles abd flying taxis already in service. 

We will take a look at AI in terms of core technology drivers and their derivatives as well as creating our own AI Assistant and to self host it on our own computer as an alternative to a subscription based service such as Chat-GPT.
